Summer of Intentionality 2013

Last week, I started thinking about our summer of intentionality.  The end of May feels like the perfect time to share my summer daydreams.  The list, of course, will evolve over the summer so I would love to hear what you are daydreaming about doing.

Family Activities

Go fishing.

Spot fireflies.

Go on a hike.

Go to a baseball game.

Canoe.

Use the hammock.  A lot.

Swim. A lot.

Ride bikes.

Play mini-golf.

Go to a splash pad.

Run through sprinklers.

Sleep in a tent.

Hear live music.

Go bowling.

Read Happy 100 picture books.

Read Happy 10 chapter books.

Participate in the library’s summer reading program.

Make art.

Have a picnic.

Feed horses.

Make popsicles.

Make ice cream.

Have breakfast for dinner.

Make homemade lemonade.

Help Happy learn more about how money works.

Go bowling.

Go to the amusement park.

My Activities

Go stand up paddling.

Take a work day off.

Read outside (porch or hammock).

Read 9 books.

Go to 5 yoga classes.

Go to 5 Pilates classes.

Host a dinner for neighbors.

Redo Happy’s room.

Update Happy’s play space.

Clean out garage.

Make a potting bench.

Update back porch.

Plant garden.

Write new book proposal.

Make art.

Read by the ocean.
