Friday Reflections is all about reflecting on the week by observing our senses. My hope is that this will be a gentle, easy way to tune into how we are doing and what we are experiencing weekly when journaling in general can feel so daunting.
Now, for this week’s Friday Reflections (with each sense as your inspiration, consider how experiencing it impacted your week).
Here is my sensory round-up for this week:
tasting :: Chicken Goat Cheese Quesadillas. Easy to make extras for the next day’s lunch, too!
hearing :: Wild. Still on the audiobook of Cheryl Strayed’s memoir.
smelling :: If I am honest? Vomit. Sorry, it’s just the truth. Happy threw up in my car over the weekend (he’s not sick; he just has the world’s most ridiculous gag reflex) and, well, I’ve had a meeting everyday and haven’t had the chance to take it to a detail place.
seeing :: My all natural face as it’s all natural day for my body image classes.
feeling :: excited. One of my favorite people is getting married this weekend. Reception? Square Dance in a barn. Yes, my boots are ready.
wishing/hoping :: for some productive work time to finish up the details on a new project.
What about you? What were your sensational experiences this week? Please share!
