Equinox: a creativity experience
March 24, 8:30 am until 12:30 pm, Triple Play Farm in Davidson, North Carolina
Are you hungry for a moment of creating in the midst of all the doing and being that your life demands of you? Are you looking for a creative challenge that will gently stretch your abilities while opening you up to your possibilities? Do you just want time and permission to explore with horses, consider nature, paint, write, draw, or capture images without any expectation and without worrying about the set-up or clean-up? If so, then join us for Equinox, a retreat designed to feed your creativity and foster your awareness of your creative process. Combining equine facilitated learning activities with lightly guided, self-propelled creative time (you’ll have time to do everything from painting a horse to writing a six word memoir), Equinox participants will experience the sensory and intellectually stimulating process of working with and learning from horses and the absorbing and satisfying experience of creating.
April 21, 8:30 am until 12 pm, Triple Play Farm in Davidson, North Carolina
Want to be deliberate about 2012? Want to intentionally create the life that you have imagined? Then this retreat is just the right experience for you. Joining equine assisted learning with reflection activities, six participants will playfully and thoughtfully consider what they bring into their lives through horse work and reflection. Only two spots remain in our April experience. One spot is for a regular registration and the other is a scholarship spot provided by a past Unbridled Authenticity participant who wants to gift another woman with this powerful experience. Send us a few sentences about a woman that you know who could use a little time just for herself or who would love to share some time with the horses but just doesn’t have it in the budget right now. Spend the day at First, Love You: a soul-warming retreat where you will connect with an intimate group of dedicated women (the group will be no larger than six), learning tricks and tools- from horses and humans- that unleash your authenticity, honor who you are and what you are meant to give to this world, and give valuable insight on how to move forward in self-acceptance.
This retreat includes equine-facilitated learning with Triple Play Farm’s compassionate and compelling herd. You will also be guided in contemplative and creative self-awareness and self-acceptance exercises.
