So, the other day, I was shopping for a dear friend’s birthday when I came across this print by Cindy Wunsch. For the last few years, when concerning body image issues, Find Your Beautiful has been such a part of my message. Ultimately, we shouldn’t just embrace the beauty messages we are given. We should create our own perception and understanding of it. When I think about what is beautiful to me, I think about a woman smiling in laughter, a parent and child hugging, someone speaking passionately about an issue that concerns them. I think about a beautiful voice in song, a body in motion, a person passing a limit they previously had. What is your beautiful?
Making it through the day without losing my cool….very few and far between though 🙁
My beautiful – the dear sweet friends I’ve grown to consider as my sisters. I grew up without sisters. Only being a sister to my 6 year younger brother. So I never got to share secrets, or make up, or stories about love. I now have some sweet sisters that I love and adore and they are my BEAUTIFUL!!!! Muah!
