I saw a write-up on the Dear Body You Tube movement in Fitness Magazine’s September issue and just had to go check it out. So here’s the deal: Molly Templeton posted a video homage to her body last year called “Dear Body.”

As can only happen on the internet, Molly sparked a movement of taking to the video camera and declaring some self-love and forgiveness.
I like you, sometimes.

Thank you for being hairless.

If I were to make a video homage, I think it would say something like this:
“Dear hair, I am sorry that I didn’t realize how fun you could be earlier. And I am sorry that I beat you down so often. I hope you’ve enjoyed the curl revolution of the last five years or so. And body, I hope you’ve enjoyed having that hour back everyday to do something else besides blow dry and flat iron until your arms ache.”
And yours?
