Latina Magazine has partnered with Maybelline New York to give college scholarships to five Latinas who are currently juniors or seniors in high school. The application is available at www.latina.com/scholarship and applicants will need to include a copy of their school transcript and a 500 word essay that tells their personal story. They are looking for students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who have compelling personal stories and big dreams. Winners receive $10,000 scholarships, a NYC breakfast in their honor, and a gift basket filled with Maybelline New York products. All entries must be postmarked by December 15, 2007.
