saturday senses

a way to capture the senses of each week…

tasting ::  white chicken chili ala the slow cooker; perfect meal to come home to after a 40 degree Halloween parade through town on Friday night.

hearing ::  Lots of Boos! from Happy followed by his hysterical laughter which then makes me laugh hysterically.

smelling ::  the crisp smell of fall air.

seeing ::  the leaves change to vivid reds, oranges, and yellows.

feeling ::  excited about fall flavors: soups and pumpkin fabulousness.

wishing/hoping :: for a good nap this weekend or, at least, a chance to sleep until 8 am.

What about you?  What were your sensational experiences this week?  Please tell me all about it!

    yay for weekly check ins!

white chili is a favorite of mine. i’ve got a recipe on my blog… i think i need to make it now. i’ve always done it on the stove top, i wonder how it would be in the slow cooker.

there is something about your baby’s laugh that triggers gut busting laughing in you too? man, she kills me.

    xo
