My biggest challenge in growing up Latina in America: I didn’t realize I had challenges till I was older and noticed how differently my family was treated because they were from “an island.”
My biggest support in growing up Latina in America: My aunts who always taught me to be proud of my heritage while embracing my new country.
Why I am beautiful: Because I accept who I am the same way I accept the difference in others.
