ORAL HISTORY INTERVIEWER POSITION

The UCLA Library’s Center for Oral History Research is looking to hire an interviewer/project coordinator in Latina and Latino history.  This individual will be responsible for developing interview series that explore significant aspects of Southern California’s Latina and Latino history.  They will design, conduct, and process all the Center’s interviews in this area and will be responsible for networking with faculty, staff, students, and community members to facilitate the donation of relevant interviews to the Center.  They will also work with the head of the Center and faculty and staff on campus to draw up grant proposals for new interview series and will assist the head in developing workshops and speaking to classes.

This is a full-time career position.  The application deadline is August 30, 2007.
