Magazines pick Hijas Americanas as a must read!

Pick up the June/ July issue of Latina magazine and head to page 26.  There you’ll find Hijas Americanas as the Number 3 item in their popular feature:  The Eight Coolest Things Happening Right Now!  Praise includes “You’ll relate to Hijas Americanas as much as you relate to Latina” and a shout out to the book’s “engaging, un- textbook-like” approach.    A special thank you to all the women featured in the book for giving voice to the Latina experience and for doing it in a way that was so honest, accessible and refreshing!
